We always want something more, something better, because we deserve it. We work, we struggle, and we hustle. Life is too damn hard, and responsibilities are too damn many. And when we buy, especially at a better deal, we are in control. And it feels good.
That moment of control? That rush of satisfaction? Well, they don’t last.
GOOD NEWS?
It’s not totally our fault, because the world is built to make us buy.
BAD NEWS?
Not only did someone, somewhere, work tirelessly to produce that thing we purchased on a whim, but resources were extracted, and emissions were released.
Now, what if we paused for a moment and asked:
-Do I actually need this?
-Will it add value to my life?
-Can I go by without it?
-Am I chasing that fleeting rush of control or satisfaction?
Remember: The best deal isn’t the one with the deepest discount, it’s the one you won’t regret later.
