Paradox of information #10

We have received this comment, "lack of information", in various cases, especially when people wanted to justify their lack of participation in campaigns and events.

Is it a lack of information or a lack of motivation to find the correct information?

And we get it! With the rise of the internet and social media, we're constantly bombarded with vast amounts of information from various sources. This flood of data can make it challenging to filter out what's relevant or reliable, leading to confusion and disengagement rather than empowerment.

To make matters worse, the constant barrage of information and stimuli in the digital age has been linked to shortened attention spans and reduced capacity for deep, sustained focus. This can make it harder for people to engage with complex or nuanced topics.

The very presence of information online doesn't guarantee that we'll learn from it; we expect knowledge to come to us effortlessly, but we should actively seek out and engage with that information.

Instead of blaming a lack of information, we should acknowledge our responsibility to seek knowledge and critically evaluate the information we encounter.

You've been cool'd!
